From February 13th to 15th, “Inion LT” team members Dr. Robertas Janickas and Mindaugas Lubys went on a business trip to the Elmia Solar fair in Jönköping, Sweden, for the project DEVELOPMENT OF THE FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT MODEL OF SOLAR PARKS LT07-1-EIM-K02-013.

Elmia Solar is the largest meeting place for solar, charging, storage, and installation in the Nordic region. During this trip, we met with potential project partners to discuss opportunities for collaboration on research and to share expertise in the design, construction, and operation of solar power plants, as well as other related topics.

We connected with solar industry professionals from international companies including CheckWatt, Fronius, LONGi, SAJ, SMA, Ferroamp, EWS, Senergia, KP Energy, and Aprilice.

Some of the topics discussed included:

• The implementation of solar panels and their impact on energy production during shading or cell failures.
• Techniques for detecting faults in inverters.
